Eurovision Song Contest

Product Specialist, The Future Group, 2019

For two months, I was onsite in Tel Aviv, helping Myreze finalize and execute their augmented reality content package for ESC, as well as hero elements created by The Future Group.

A lot of the content ended up not making it on air, but notable elements that did include heavy use of AR during the opening ceremony (Airplane, particle FX), the floating AR titlers for each country, and in particular the Idan Raichel Project’s AR “Sun”.
The latter had a lot of composition challenges that we addressed during the lead-up to the live show, and I am very proud with how the final result turned out, seen in the first video below.

My responsibilities was asset creation, identifying and solving rendering/compositing issues, as well as acting as the AR operator during all rehearsals and the live production itself.
